Antonio Signorini "Flying Horses"

A new international art project, Metamotus, brings the “Flying Horses“—*Arcturus* and *Sun*—to Peccioli; these are two monumental bronze sculptures, each standing nearly 11 meters tall and weighing two tons.
Signorini’s horses celebrate neither strength nor dominance; they are presences suspended between matter and imagination—stars traversing the firmament along invisible, infinite trajectories. They tell no story of departure or arrival. There is only continuous movement, a yearning for the beyond.
Antonio Signorini, born in Pisa in 1971, is one of the most original sculptors on the contemporary scene; his work intertwines art, anthropology, memory, and monumentality, creating a constant tension between weight and lightness that evolves into a universal language.
