This trail is entirely on dirt roads and has a total length of 12 km. Along this route visitors can make use of five equipped areas for picnic and relaxation.
The estate Le Serre is a property of 900 hectares of greenery. Mountain biking enthusiasts can enjoy a trail across the estate that starts near the amphitheater Fonte Mazzola in Peccioli and twists and turns in a completely safe and peaceful setting, fully immersed in nature.
The itinerary in the estate Le Serre tells the story of the community of peasants who used to animate this area until the 60s; plenty of farmhouses were at the base of gricultural activity while the spiritual center of the community was represented by the Church of Madonna delle Serre, which dominates from its position a beautiful landscape characterized by a succession of olive groves and vineyards. The wood of Ortaglia is accessible through a pathway that starts and ends on Via delle Serre. In this area it is likely to meet the wildlife that inhabit the wood.
