An itinerary of 11 km
This small loop contains the essence of the area of Peccioli. Starting from Fonte Mazzola, we take a steep way downhill leading to the area of Le Serre, once dotted with farmhouses typical of the sharecropping system. After crossing the stream Racosa, the road goes uphill towards Montecchio, once a strategic fortress to defend the municipality.
Continuing towards the river Era, we immerse ourselves in a landscape that reminds us of a postcard. After a last stretch, we take a final way uphill that takes us to Peccioli, where we can enjoy a break amid medieval alleys and installations of contemporary art works.
